Best Vacation Ever

This cabin is the sweetest little cabin anywhere. We had a great time at the cabin, floating in Donna and Bill's pool, riding the golf cart up and down and talking to the peacocks, turkeys, horses and donkeys. Donna and Bill are wonderful hosts and we will definitely be back!

Donna and Bill are the best! The property is perfect for a couple that need a bit of privacy. The cabin is clean and cozy. If you love nature then this place is for you! My husband and I will be back many more times!

Winter trip

It was nice cabin. Very secluded and quiet. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but loved it. If you are taller then 6 ft you will have to duck when you are upstairs. But we did like it and had a great time. We will come back soon.

Incredible Stay!

This is our second time here and the property owner makes this stay even better. This cabin is an amazing getaway deep in the woods with lots of charm. Time slows down here - if you are lucky enough to have ever experienced this feeling, you know what im talking about. We will always be returning as this place holds a special place in our heart.

Awesome cabin in the woods

This was our 4th time staying at the cabin and it was as fun as the first time! We love the cabin,the land,the critters and the owners. Donna and Bill are the greatest people you'll meet! Donna always goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is the best. Would 100%recommend to people who love nature!

Perfect Getaway!

The "Cabin in the Woods" was exactly as described. It was quaint and nicely decorated. It had everything you would need for a peaceful time away. Donna and Bill are truly exceptional hosts, easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and knowledgeable about the area. The cabin and the grounds were quite with only the sounds of nature. We traveled to Tennessee to visit the Great Smokey Mountains and even though the cabin was not the closest place we could fine the distance was easily outweighed by staying there. We will be coming back again. If you are looking to get away and have some peace and quiet and get unplugged for a while, this is the place. You will not be disappointed.

Best place we've ever stayed

The cabin in the woods is exactly that. It's a rustic secluded getaway. This was our 2nd trip there and we will return. Perfect to getaway from all the hustle and bustle of cellphones, traffic, and the rest of life. Donna is a fantastic host, she has thought of everything from the use of a gulf cart to the smores kit includes for the outdoor fireplace. The little things in the cabin make you feel right at home.

We were thrilled with the little Cabin in the Woods! It provided a lovely atmosphere, a woodsy feel, a warm, crackling outdoor fire, a cozy place for spending time enjoying the gorgeous trees and view, the animals. We stayed two nights, and wish we had one more! We hope to return next year.

You Will Not Be Disappointed!

Our stay at the cabin was just what we needed to get away from it all to unplug and unwind. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need while away from home. We spent most of our time outdoors enjoying views of nature and wildlife from the porch, grilling out for meals, and having fires at night. However, much thought has also been put into the interior of the cabin from the cozy and welcoming decor to the super soft towels and amazingly comfortable bed. If our travels ever take us to this area again we will be certainly try to stay here again.

If you love being surrounded by trees and God’s creation, The Cabin in The Woods”is just for you!

My favorite thing to do was wake up early in the morning just as the sun was breaking through the trees! I’d sit on the front or back porch and read, drink my coffee, and listen to the birds sing. You can’t beat that! My husband and I marveled at the craftsmanship of the cabin.. Even though we felt like pioneers, we had all the necessary amenities. Electricity, hot and cold running water, air conditioning, etc. There was no WI-FI, but we didn’t miss it! This area has lots of recreational areas. It’s 20 minutes from Pigeon Forge,/Gatlinburg area and 5-minutes from Dandridge, Tennessee and Douglas Lake. Donna was a perfect Hostes!

Best cabin get away ever!

This was by far the best anniversary get away in the 22 years of marriage. Check in & out was super easy. Donna was amazing never had no one to ever have us an anniversary card filled out waiting at the cabin, she had stuff for s’mores for us. The place was spotless. So quiet and relaxing I could have stayed forever. I can not say enough positive things about this place and it’s owners! Its something you’ll have to experience for yourself but you won’t be disappointed!

Exceptional Stay- Must stay if you are in East Tennessee

If you are looking for a true "cabin in the woods" look no further. We were looking for a primitive type feel and it checked all the boxes. The craftsmanship inside and out of this cabin truly reflects the attention to detail of the host. When we arrived we were met by the host who provided a list of most of the questions one would have when you show up to stay in a foreign place. The host made sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed from day to day and was always available with a just a call or text. You will arrive as guests but leave feeling like family. This little piece of heaven will make everything in the world right again by the time you depart. This place is right at Douglas Lake and a short drive from all the attractions of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The town of Dandridge is very small yet has everything you need less than 10 minutes from the cabin. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
