Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. The location is ideal—close to shopping, Mount Royal and other amenities. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

I stayed at this 4-star hotel for three consecutive nights, and the experience was very disappointing: • The front desk supervisor was extremely rude and unprofessional. • The business room was under renovation during my entire stay, with no prior notice or announcement. • I had to deal with constant noise and disturbances from neighboring rooms for three days in a row. • There was conflicting information provided regarding breakfast hours. • My request for a late checkout (just one extra hour) was refused, even though the hotel was not busy at all and their policy clearly states it is subject to availability. The only positive part of my stay was the bellboy, who was polite and professional. Overall, this experience does not reflect a 4-star standard, and I would not recommend staying here. The shower in our first room was dirty, so we asked to be moved. Unfortunately, the shower in the second room was also dirty. Overall, not a great experience, and I would not choose to stay here again.

First, the positives. his hotel is located downtown, and there are numerous restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was valet parking, which was pricey but convenient. The majority of the staff were excellent. The valet parking attendants were helpful in seeking a taxi, very polite. The cleaning staff were kind and helpful, and some front desk staff were excellent. Now for the negatives. The restaurant and lounge were closed for renovation and the pool was not warm enough to use in September (despite photos showing steam coming off of the pool, it was not warm enough to use on a cool day, and there is no hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but there was confusion over what a coupon meant (we were told we were being given a coupon for breakfast). We thought this was a bonus or included as a nice gesture, given the restaurant was closed. It was not, and we were charged the full rate on our bill the next day. Overall the hotel was clean and centrally located but it was not as luxurious as one would expect for the price we paid - which given the restaurant closure and unusable pool was too high. I would look elsewhere next time. We stayed at another hotel previously and it was cheaper with better amenities and even the beds were more comfortable. If you can get a deal it is a decent hotel.

I booked two rooms, one for good friends vacationing with us; and one for my wife and me. Our friends found a used condom on their nightstand after stepping out for a few hours. Apparently staff used the room while they were out. Front desk responded poorly.
