Apparently now Motel 6 doesn’t have microwaves, refrigerators, or hair dryers in many or most rooms (at least at this property). There wasn't a list of in room amenities in the online listing, but I’ve never stayed in a hotel without these basic items. When we asked the front desk they said the rooms with those items cost $20 more per night, but they were all booked. There was no microwave on the property all all that a guest could use. In a photo in the listing there was a microwave in the laundry room, but we were told that even the employees didn’t have a microwave. One of the washing machine was broken, leaving only one to use. The property was clean, and the bed comfortable. However, when we spilled water and “mopped” it up with a hand towel, the floor was FILTHY. It was absolutely not mopped before we came. There was also a big hairball attached to the chair leg. Although it’s conveniently located (and pets stay free), we won’t stay at another Motel 6 again.
Not a clean room. Floor was swept but not thoroughly, and not mopped.
One machine was out of order.

We booked this as a last minute trip option and was very happy with it. The room was nice, clean enough, but we would have liked a maid service during the day with the sand from the beach on the floor, or a broom in the room. For the price and last minute trip we were happy. Plus the Dennys in the parking lot was a major plus for my family!
