We enjoyed a two night stay in The Carmel Bay View Inn. The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and the grounds were beautiful. Parking was included, and everything was within walking distance.
Our room had a fireplace which provided more ambiance than heat. There was also a small wall heater that worked well.
The room had a fridge and coffee maker.
The bed itself was really comfortable.
The few things that weren’t so great, were as others have stated, It was noisy. You could hear people walking, talking, kids running etc. both outside, and in the rooms above.
The pillows were a little harder than I prefer and there wasn’t enough blankets. (To be fair, I didn’t ask for any extra, which I’m sure would have been provided.)
Breakfast was also included which was nice but not the best we’ve had. But you won’t starve, as there were lots of options.
Even with the few con’s, We would choose this hotel again.
