"Beatific"

"Villa Cecilia is absolutely lovely, even nicer than the photos. Our family (three couples and an infant) thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The villa is spacious and well appointed, we cooked and ate inside and outside and marveled at the views from so many windows and balconies. Marco was a friendly and patient host, we had several requests prior to our arrival (he helped us organize a celebration luncheon on Monte Isola), he provided prompt and helpful responses and met us on arrival to show us the villa in detail. The area offers much to explore, and Marco's new guidebook helped us plan our activities (kayaking, a winery visit, ferry rides). We enjoyed walking through the village and hearing Italian, very little English wherever we went. If you are visiting in summer, we strongly suggest a day and night out in Verona, and getting tickets for the Opera at the Arena di Verona if you can, it's an unforgettable experience, though a late night! This was our second visit to Lago d'Iseo, we hope there will be an opportunity to return, and we would love to return to Villa Cecilia -"
