The whole building was remodeled during 18 months. It was completed on August 2019. New pool and pool area. The complete building and halls have been remodeled and painted.
Our unit was recently remodeled. It has 2-bedroom, 1-bath unit, located on the 3rd floor of an exclusive 32-unit, 3 floor building. Reserved private parking for 2 cars.
It is a corner unit with wall-to-wall sliding door in living room that will give you a great view. Master bedroom has a queen size bed with a 22' HD-TV and DVD player. Guest room has two full beds and a 19' HD-TV. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Both rooms have large closets, plus a large storage room. Bathroom has been completely renovated and all fixtures are brand new. The spacious living/dining area has beautiful new furniture and a dining table for 4, plus a counter that seats 3 more. Living room has a 42' HD-TV with DVD player and DVD library, beautiful sofa that seats 4 and 2 additional seats. The kitchen is new with most of the appliances new as well. Unit is complete with all kitchen utensils,china,linen and towels.
Enjoy a short walk to the beach using our private entrance. Once there, you are one block away from the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where you can enjoy a tropical drink or snack, go to the spa or have an elegant dinner. You can also rent kayaks, jet skis, wind surf and other amenities.
Our unit is within walking distance of Key Biscayne's business area, where you can find great restaurants, boutiques, bars, pharmacies and a large supermarket.
The Tennis Center at Crandon Park is 2 minutes away, where you can also play tennis at the public tennis courts. The Crandon Park Golf Course has been selected as one of the ten best public golf courses in the U.S. It features a championship 18-hole course with stunning views of downtown Miami and the ocean. If you like deep sea fishing or scuba diving, you can rent boats or yachts within 10 minutes from our unit. If you are a shoreline fisher, they have several areas in the key where you can throw your lines.
The Miami Seaquarium and Jungle Island are just 10 minutes away. The Children’s Museum is also a short distance away…great fun for the whole family!
The Bill Baggs State Park and Crandon Park, are within walking distance and they are great for jogging, biking, picnicking or just strolling to observe the beautiful vegetation and wildlife. You can also walk to the historical lighthouse, constructed in 1825, which is great for taking pictures! Guided tours are available twice daily. At the Bill Baggs Park, you can visit the restaurant located at 'No Name Harbour', here you can have great fresh fish or lobster enjoying a wonderful view. There are many exotic walking trails in this park that the whole family will enjoy.
From our unit to the entrance of Key Biscayne it's a 15 minute ride. From here, you can go North to Brickell Avenue, downtown Miami or to the Arscht Center for opera, ballet and other great shows. Also go to South Beach and enjoy it's beaches, restaurants, bars, lounges and world-renown nightlife.
Going South from Key Biscayne, you will find artistic Coconut Grove with great shops, restaurants and galleries.
The famous 'Calle Ocho', Latin Quarters, is 20 minutes away. You will enjoy having great Cuban and South American cuisine and also visit many art galleries and typical Latin shops. At night, you will be able to dance to live Latin rhythms in several night clubs in the area.
Miami International Airport is 20 minutes away and Fort Lauderdale Airport is 45 minutes away.
All in all, you will really enjoy staying at 'Island Paradise' and specially living in our beautiful, newly renovated apartment. We are sure you will love to come back!
