The view alone makes this place awesome. Front desk guy was helpful and pleasant. Room was cute and little gas fireplace was both neat and utilitarian (it did get into the 40s at night and fire place kept room cozy). Little pricey but definitely awesome.

The Emerald room was absolutely amazing. Million dollar view from the warmth of the room or from the patio. A short stroll led you to a few lounge chairs perfect for watching a sunset. Susan was amazing and very accommodating to our needs. We will be making this a regular vacation stop for wife and I.

The Agate Cove Inn was a magical peaceful getaway! My husband, daughter, and I stayed here for an extended weekend during the annual Murder, She Wrote festival in Mendocino. This was the PERFECT location to stay for this event. We had an amazing ocean view without sacrificing proximity to downtown Mendocino, which was about a four minute drive, if that. The hotel was clean, with amazing views, friendly staff, good maid service, and easy parking. I hope to return in the future! Highly recommend this inn!

Unfortunately there’s really nowhere to walk. The street is too narrow to walk into the village and there’s no beach access. But the property has stunning views and the cabins are cozy and fully appointed. As long as you don’t mind driving half a mile to town or to other areas, the stay itself is very nice and comfortable.

Greetings! My wife and I had such an amazing stay at Agate Cove Inn! We loved the cozy accommodations but staying in the Obsidian Room put it way over the top!! We also loved the convenience and closeness that the Inn is to town. We will most definitely be back, and will tell everyone who asks all about our awesome stay. Oh yeah and the scrumptious homemade chocolate chip cookies were a nice treat to come back to every evening ! Many Thanks, Brent & Amanda Y

Staff was great. I feel bad but I really don’t have anything great to say about the property and the shape it is in. Way overpriced for what is advertised and what the experience it was. It could be a great place but is is really dated in every way.
