I had the most amazing experience at Laneways by Ovolo. From the moment we arrived, the staff were beyond kind, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. The girls at the front desk were especially wonderful, they were so supportive of my friend who ran the Melbourne Marathon and went out of their way to make her feel extra special. That personal touch honestly meant so much! The room was spotless, beautifully styled, and surprisingly spacious, everything felt fresh, comfortable, and so well thought out. It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The location was unbeatable right in the heart of Melbourne, surrounded by amazing food spots, cafés, and bars, and super easy to get anywhere on foot or by tram. Everything about our stay was five-star: the service, the space, and the warmth of the team. I couldn’t recommend Laneways by Ovolo more highly and can’t wait to stay again!

Great Service in a Central Spot

Laneways by Ovolo was a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Melbourne, close to plenty of food and shopping options. Lyla at the front desk was especially conscientious and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly during our stay. It’s a good pick if you want friendly service and an easy base for exploring the city.

Windowless

If you have rooms with no windows (and 30cm of glass bricks doesnt count as a window) then you should declare that in the listing. An industrial hum through the wall all night and the circulation of a windowless box. At a low price it would be fine, but i paid plenty more and that's comical. I mentioned it to staff who said it was listed as "no view" lol
