It was wonderful, I had a toddler with me and they were so great with him. Highly recommend the breakfast, wasn't as huge a fan of the dumplings but the rest was SO good. Dinner wasn't great but it was nice to have room service. The koala mousse is wonderful if you peel back the koala "fur" to the mousse. Excellent. The place was clean and they give you extras of everything, loved the laundry service too, that was super convenient. The pool was cold but hot tub was hot. The gym is fantastic, they have a spin studio too!! So great. It's close to great shops and the train station and the free tram and walking distance to many tourist attractions like the Melbourne museum and parks and the waterfront.

I stay in Melbourne quite often and tend not to stay here. In my mind it is a little old and dated. However, on this occasion I gave it a shot because of its location. It was a pleasant surprise. Even though the building dates back to the 70s or 80s, it is well renovated and has an amazing health centre and good restaurant and bar options. A welcome surprise for me and my British guests.
