The location is great, tram access easy, and it's a short walk downhill to the Bourke St shopping Mall. CitiClub Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable, and you have YouTube access as a guest. Great Malaysian restaurant next door, coffee shops close and a supermarket 2 doors down. Whenever I visit Melbourne, I stay here and feel safe as a solo Traveller.

The room was comfortable and clean. The beds were really comfortable. Maid service was ok but they didn't actually remake the beds so the sheets underneath were still tangled when we went to bed on our second night. I wouldn't recommend a stay there on a weekend unless you're a heavy sleeper. I understand there was a nightclub downstairs but I honestly didn't expect the doof doof sound til 4am, as loud as it was 4 floors up! Especially the vibration through the walls at different points throughout the night. So unless you're going there for the nightclub, stay away on weekends.

The staff were so friendly, and the hotel is convenient to shops, restaurants and city sights. The room is comfortable but showing its age and wifi wasn’t great. Unfortunately, a nightclub next door is loud on the weekend - which the hotel can’t control.

We booked this hotel as part of a broader group for a friend’s birthday. When we checked in, we were advised that there is a nightclub adjacent and the Reception offered earplugs to drown the noise. There was no mention of this prior to booking. The noise level was so high we may have as well been in the nightclub.

AVOID loud Bass till 5 am! Stay Sun to Thurs ONLY

CitiClub is in an excellent location. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. The lighting was sparse and dim. We moved one twin bed which was really dusty underneath. the sheets are so small they don't tuck in so become a wrinkled mess. Part of the conditions or stay is this info 'Nightclub is open on Friday & Saturday nights as well as Public Holiday Eve’s. Rooms will be affected by elevated noise levels. No refunds or changes available.' Neither this statement nor the website tells you this thumping bass goes until 5am. AVOID Friday OR Saturday!
