"We got into Deadwood Late on 7/10/26, around 12:30 AM. Check in went great but once we got up to our room the great experience started to decline. "I can’t say enough how much we love staying here. We’ve had two trips and two stays here now and we will always come back. It is on the pricier side but well worth it. Rooms are updated and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is not a far walk from downtown. We tried the steakhouse for the first time this year and loved it. Great food. The casino is also fun. We only had one issue this stay with a house keeper leaving our door open after cleaning. That was a little off putting due to being right off the elevator and having expensive items in our room. The staff however did make up for it and we do believe it was an honest mistake. Definitely won’t keep us away in the future."
