not after remodeling

I loved this hotel. The homey look, the breakfast nooks, the friendly staff, clean rooms. But I don't like it now. I don't know who their decorator is but it looks cold and uninviting now. To begin with, I was not informed of the remodling going on and lack of water for 4 or 5 hours when I booked. Although the rooms were clean, the rest of it was dusty. And I hate the new look. The rooms aren't bad, except for the carpet, but the rest just was such a disappointment. I don't like the drab color of the carpets, the cold look and drab colors of the eating area, no breakfast nooks to eat in....just everyone crowded together in one area in front of everyone. Although the staff are still friendly, and the room very clean.....the rest is a failure in my opinion. Don't think I'm going back.

I have stayed 7 times in 2012 and make me feel comfortable while away from home.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Breakfast and Hospitality evening reception, are good and sometimes I don't even go out for dinner.

Friendly Service

Staff was great! I needed to make copies, and the staff was willing to make the copies for me. Service was great, which complements for the need of renovation.

Travel with my family, located close to all main stores. Hotel staff is friendly and ready to help. Rooms are clean and confortable

This hotel made me feel so comfortable I didn't want to leave the room!

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
The rooms are very nice and coordinated well. Bed and pillows comfy. Room was very clean! I have lots of family who live nearby and was offered a room by several. I politely turned them down because I loved the room!!! My father stays there at Drury Inn when he visits and I did not understand why but I do now. If feels like home even though its only temporary.
