"Wl-Fi was great. Didn't use the pool because the warm lagoon was only 2 blocks away. Staff was excellent, espeically Vanessa. She gave me so many tips, especially when the best day to cruise the lagoon. Housekeeping sometimes need a reminder to clean my room. I wish there was s closet to hang clothes and other drawers to store things."

"Pool is beautiful and grounds are landscaped perfectly with such a variety of beautiful flowers and plants. You choose the included breakfast from a menu in the attached restaurant. Each room has a nice porch with a hammock and comfortable chairs, and the chaise lounges around the pool have nice pads on them also. Nicely furnished rooms with custom built-ins. "

"Enjoyed the pool , lots of plant seeds in pool .. but this is to be expected as it is surrounded by large plants 😃.breakfast was good , and free . Game and library was nice to have at night with a drink . Alejandro , young bartender was super nice . Staff was super helpful with allowing out baggage to be kept in hotel whilst our room was being prepared. I received a note in too. Saying enjoy your free gift ? Have no clue what gift they meant . Oh well lol . Free beach towels and bag for day trips . Love the feel of the room , boho, tropic with privacy "

"Pros: Attentive, friendly staff. Partial lagoon view from Tapir Room, storing our luggage and letting us use the oceanfront after check-out, the dock was awesome, walkable location from el Centro, simple yet satisfying breakfast. Fan and A/C options. The property is gorgeous. Cons: room is a bit weathered, smelled musty/moldy, corner near A/C looked moldy, window swollen so couldn’t open much, lack of attention in housecleaning and maintenance (ashtray overflowing from prior guest, freezer compartment overgrown with ice and cutting into fridge space, some furniture in need of repair). Perhaps other rooms were better maintained due to their full lagoon view and higher cost. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the mold smell/look was concerning. "
