"From the moment we checked in, we felt welcome and in a relaxing space. The owners of this boutique hotel have put much effort into making it a special place that exudes calm and kindness. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and quiet at night (the walls are thick, so one doesn't hear the neighbors). The interor garden with a pool is a lovely refuge. The hotel is close to many good restaurants and just a short walk to the lovely water of the lagoon. We highly recommend this hotel in Bacalar!"

"A nice sized clean room. The breakfast was buffet style. Eggs were served in different styles daily. Plenty of choices for most people. Walking distance to both the ADO bus and Centro. Plenty of outdoor areas. Lots of table and chairs and loungers. The pool was too cold for me but the weather had been cool so maybe on a warmer day. Lake access was only a few hundred meters away at a free pier by the Eco Parque entrance. "

"Excellent stay in Bacalar. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the pool is great, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The front desk gave us great recommendations for activities. Having bicycles available was super convenient. The location is perfect, right near everything. We nearly booked a much more expensive hotel outside of town and are so glad we didn’t. Staying here was far more convenient and enjoyable. Will be back for sure. "

"We were really pleased with our stay at the AGAM - it was well located about a five minute walk to the lagoon and ten minutes to the zócalo. The hotel is beautifully kept with a nice pool and garden, and clean and stylish rooms. The bed was comfortable, though a little on the firm side. Breakfast was really nice, and the staff were fabulous. We had help booking tours, and when there was a medical emergency they really went above and beyond to help sort out some logistics. Abril, in particular, was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. I would happily stay at the AGAM again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! "
