Based on our stay, Pros: Clean, updated rooms, well-equipped fitness center, walkable to Marina State Beach, easy highway access to Monterey and Salinas, reasonably priced. Cons: Pool heater wasn't working - still allowed to use pool, but water didn’t look clean. Hot breakfast items were room temperature and dry. Parking was plentiful but there's a $10/day charge in a location that doesn’t look touristy and needing public demand for parking. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and based on price and convenience we'd stay there again.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again I love me a Hampton. Breakfast is always amazing. Great assortment and great from the girl. The staff is amazing, courteous, complementary above and beyond. The rooms are clean and appropriately furnished and I love having a fridge and a microwave. There have only been two times out of all my stays in Hamptons and I’ve stayed at a lot that I was disappointed. The standard had severely lacked.

The room was fine. Unfortunately front desk allowed a scam called to connect to my room and attempt to gain money from myself. Manager did not do much, basically told me it happens all the time, it does not. It was an evening full of discomfort after that as they had my information as it was confirmed downstairs when they called. Pretty big ceiling leak in dining area as well. I will add when I requested a room change due to the call, I was given one.

We just checked in today in the hope of using the indoor heated pool because of the rain outside. But found out that the heater is not working which was a big bummer. As nothing was advertised or we were kept informed. Even some of the equipment in the gym is also not working.
