There was no my room type available. Front desk staff even didn’t notified me, only gave the key after long waiting time. When I entered the room I realize that room type is different then I booked. I asked staff but they said they don’t have my room type and basically they don’t care.

Overall everything was clean. I wanted a room which was soundproof so I can sleep peacefully which is why I booked the hotel. Unfortunately that was not the case. I could hear every word the people next to me were saying. They were up till 4am and I can hear them all night long so to say I didn’t get any sleep. Hampton do better don’t say soundproofing and then you can hear everything your neighbor is saying.

The hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly & accomodating. Pillows in rooms need to be larger as throw pillow size. Found a large spider in gym that I had to kill! Yikes! Also, no air freshner available for the bathrooms. Overall a 4/5 & loved the locality!

As a family with small children, I wish we would have stayed somewhere different like Carmel by the sea. This hotel was okay. The area itself is pretty run down. Wasn’t super impressed but wasn’t terrible. Just don’t have high expectations.
