This is my 2nd time staying here. Everything was clean and orderly. Most staff was super friendly and polite. Only 1 young woman at front desk was a little rude when I asked for a pool towel. She said to wait for it at the pool after she handed 3 towels to the person in front of me. I felt it to be rude and kind of discriminatory that she would not give me a towel but handed someone else 3 of them right before me. The breakfast options were good however, the hot food could use better flavoring. Potatoes were very bland and bacon and sausage were both dry. Overall, fit was a good stay and I will stay here again because it’s very near UCSB campus where my daughter attends

We ubered here from SBA airport & could walk to many dining options. Ubered back to airport to rent a car to drive to BUR due to a 2 day ground stop at SBA. It was a very stressful 2 days, but Best Western was a positive in it all. Sat in their hottub before bedtime to help me sleep! Lovely garden area!

Overrated and rundown

Everything is really dated and run down. I’m shocked at the rating and reviews for what we got. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a larger room at check in hen they saw we had 4 people, which was so nice. But the room was badly renovated at some point. There’s a ton of water damage to the walls which gives me the ick and worry about mold- but no mold was visible. We had tile floor through most of our room, and my kids feet were BLACK after 15 mins post shower from not wearing sandals in the room. Yuck!
