Lots of guests with children who were really really enjoying the property! The pool was quite a draw with the waterslide. Our room overlooked the pool and we couldn’t hear anything. Clean and quiet. My only thing was for such a large property there was only 1 elevator to accommodate so many guests. Lots of parking.

When we checked into the room, opened the fridge to put our daughter’s breast milk in the fridge to find mold. Front staff were very kind and came to scrub the fridge clean thankfully as there were no other rooms to be moved to. Later in the evening when putting our very tired daughter to bed, other guests kept going out the emergency doors and setting off the alarms, after the forth alarm went off and woke our daughter up my husband went and let the front staff aware that they had woken her up and were also partying outside our window. We understand people want to enjoy their time in cities as well, but so do we. Front staff seemed very eager to fix the situation. Hoping that the situation will continue to be resolved.

It was good that renovations are happening as it looks like the place needs it. Unfortunately the room beside us was being renovated and it was very loud. We knocked and the contractor apologized and moved onto a quieter job. The hotel was very busy. Our room overlooked the pool and it was very loud for our 5 year old to try and get to sleep at 8:00pm. The restaurant was very understaffed. The outside was in need of some landscape work. Some ash trays are needed as there were cigarette butts everywhere and a woman trying to keep on top of sweeping them up.

Our room has no air cinditioning, the carpet is all wet, the toilet leaks, very disappointed. Were here again thursday hopefully we get a better room, will mention to front desk.

HVAC system didn’t work. Hotel Was extremely noisy. All entrances besides the front entrance were alarmed. People used them anywayand loud alarms sounded very often. Other guests were visiting in hallways loudly late into the night. Could hear loud people in both adjacent rooms.

The carpet is very bad in the room and hallways. The ceiling in the hallways is extremely dated The room other than the carpet is nice. Didn’t try the restaurant and too old to use the slide and water park type pool. Hope they continue to update. Price is too high I thought

Lorne

This hotel is located in a a bit of a rougher older neighbourhood. The people around here are a rough crowd. Ensure the car is locked up with no valuables inside. The hotel is a constant noisy space. Of people coming in and out to the smoking area. I think that these people are living there or staying longer term. I wouldn’t recommend the area.
