No heat in room. Maintenance finally came. Had a hard time to get him to leave the room. Couldn’t fix it. He came by when we were out. Forgot his keys so came back when we were getting ready for bed. TV stopped working. Woke up to soaking wet floor slipped on bathroom floor due to wet feet in middle of night. I understand it is an old hotel. Could have been really nice with our water view. Staff was wonderful and we were refunded

Heat was on full upon arrival, tried to turn down and control knob came off in my hand. Contacted front desk and security attended, “did his best”, hear was lessened but remained on. Windows did not have fly screens so unable to open those, ran the AC all night but it was still very hot. Toilet flushed but did not empty, had to fill it with hot water using the recycling bin multiple times in order to remove waste. General cleanliness was acceptable but not ideal. Placed drinks in the fridge along with some leftovers, in the morning the drinks were warm and we had to discard the food. Upon check out the receptionist did not ask how the stay was, I informed her if the issues, her response was to say “sorry to hear that.” I would very much advise against staying.

Loved the breakfast. Eggs and sausage with toast and potatoes. I was unhappy that there was no exhaust fan in our bathroom. Also there is laundry but they don’t have change and they don’t sell any laundry soap. So I took dirty clothes home. So sad

The room was mostly clean, carpets and windows need attention. Friendly staff, absolutely terrible area. Yes the lake is near but the drunk crowds of people yelling outside your window is constant until around 4 A.M.

Breakfast service was top notch once again. Instay over 100 nights yearly and service here is best by far. Now older hotel but clean safe and spacious. Like the proximity to casino and walking to good restsurants.

This hotel is in serious need of renovation. The location is beautiful overlooking the waterfront but the rooms were old and dated. It was clean enough. I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

It was a beautiful place- I had a view on the Lake and Harbour. The sunset and Sunrise was just spectacular. I like the fact that there was a security gurad near the parking lot so my car was safe and I felt safe when bringing my dog outside. It was very quiet. Loved this stay

Given the age of the property, it was in good condition. But, some areas of the room needed painting and there were small amounts of mold in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The shower could use some more pressure, but I’m sure that’s a challenge in an older building. My biggest complaint was breakfast. They apparently had just switched over to a new ordering system, so it took 30 minutes to get breakfast and It was cold. I had multiple people try to sell me something in the area outside the motel, but I never felt unsafe.
