Let’s start with the positives. The location and the setting is perfect. It is quite beautiful Here is the concerning part. When we walked in, the house had a very musty not lived in smell. It seemed to go away through the week as we aired it out, but it was concerning when we first walked in. The house is very “Tired” looking. There were several maintenance issues that need immediate attention. The obvious presence of termites in the living room wall and upstairs in the loft. Several places on the deck need attention. You had to learn where to step so it wouldn’t feel like you were going to fall throughWe had to call about broken furniture on the property that was just set aside and needed to be replaced. The listing said there is a refrigerator in the tiki bar area. Unfortunately there was a worn hand written note on it saying that it was broken. To the credit of the management company,they did replace it when we complained, but they left the old refrigerator along with the broken furniture on the property. Several lights were out and needed to be replaced Many doors in the house would not latchLack of certain utensils such as no can opener or bottle openerThe upstairs master sweet has no hot water in the shower The toilet in the same room would not flush. Maintenance did take care of that though. Overall, this is a good location and a great setting but it really needs some attention.
