Sportsman's Inn on the Harbour Front
"We were confused at first because the sign on the white exterior of the property said McNeills Inn (another listing on Expedia). However, the address matched the listing we booked. All good, except we then saw a brown exterior motel two doors down that said Sportsman's Inn, so we went over to that. There we found a note in the window of the (at the time) closed restaurant to check-in at the pub (Gus' Bar & Grill) next door. Aha! the booking confirmation emailed confirmed this... we were in the right place. The booking email said check-in started at 3pm but the nice lady at the bar said it was 4pm that day. No problem; it gave us a chance to explore town. Our room was in McNeills Inn building but the room matched the pictures shown for the Sportman's Inn on Expedia. I'm happy to report the room was better than in the pictures. The pics made it look a bit bland, which was OK for our one-night stay. The room was clean and actually pleasant. We liked table/sitting area by the window, set apart from where the beds are. The TV was a bit small but I wasn't there to watch TV. We enjoyed quick/convenient access to the (related?) pub and restaurant. We would stay here again for a future multi-day trip."
