"My stay overall was great. We booked a renovated room & it was beautifully decorated and suited our needs. Some things in the room that I did notice 1. The window sill was very dusty 2. The bathroom door is a barn door and all though you could close it, there was still a gap big enough for sound to be clearly heard in the rest of the room 3. The barn door also blocked the mini fridge cabinet so we had to open the door to get to the fridge. If someone was in the bathroom you would have to wait til they were done or do a quick open then close of the doors. Another thing about the location of the renovated rooms, we had someone who uses a manual wheelchair and there was a sharp & steep turn that we he had to maneuver to get him to and from our room. Thankfully we were on the ground floor but it was really difficult for him to maneuver on his own so his independence was restricted. Also the distance from the wheelchair accessible entrance to the elevator is a little far. If we had a room on the higher floors, we’d have to enter from the middle of the building and go about the length of 10 guest rooms to get to the elevator. This is just something to think about. We did have a great stay and this place allowed us to enjoy much needed family time. Thank you to Maui Seaside and the team there for making this trip great."
