Did not mind not changing towels or beds during stay but after being out all day I would hope the room had been checked for tea, coffee, milk and water rather having to ask at reception.

Pleasant stay which would have got 5 stars save for some services issues. That said a one night stay in a standard room with breakfast and ample free parking, a 5 minute stroll to the river gives good value for just under £100. Additionally we added an evening meal and the food was good with a decent wine list.

The property itself was tired and in need of some refurbishment. Staff friendly. Dinner rather overpriced. No information about hotel, surrounding area or menus in the room. Would recommend upgrading room type, the entry level rooms in the single storey building have absolutely no soundproofing, and the carpets in this area are well overdue to be replaced. The historic hotel is in a lovely rural location in a riverside village with local towns nearby. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

Old Bell at Hurley

Our second stay here was as pleasing as our first. A very unique location in a very special village by the Thames. Very comfortable, lovely food and faultless staff. Will definitely book for a third visit. Recommend without hesitation.
