Many guests are marginally homeless, but it did not feel unsafe. Funky smell in the corridor, but the room was fine and clean. Convenient to shopping and dining and downtown. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Madison on my own dime.

I reserved a room back in April, we checked in, no room was available, we came back and the room was never cleaned. There was garbage and food in our room still. Beds were not cleaned. I asked for a refund which the worker said yes, he’d give me one and we left.

The staff are wonderful and the stay with satisfac

The staff who greeted us was very pleasant and relatable. She was helpful and went above and beyond helping us. I was so happy with this day. The only thing was, the TV wasn't hooked up to internet so I couldn't use it. And I was so tired that I just let the issue go till the morning. And one of the beds in the double, had really bad wires underneath and I could feel them. The other bed was perfect. Upon checking out, the staff took note, and will help us this next night that we have to stay and put us in a different room. She was wonderful. And the room was so clean! My cat came with us and he loved going under the bed. It was clean also and he felt at ease. Thank you!

When I arrived, there were few people hung around the building. I felt unsafe but the one rhing that bother me and i had to leave the motel after 1 hour checked in because i found a bed bug on my pillow bed by accident. I took some picture, and put a cup on the bed to held the bed bug. I tried to call the front desk but no response. I decided to leave and had to call another hotel nearby which is La Quinta. We left and told the front desk. We dis not checked in to La Qunita until past midnight. I think i should get my refund and discount for the last minute reservation at La Quinta. Please keep me update on tbe status. Thanks.

This is why people are pissed off at the world!

Had a confirmed reservation with hotels.com. traveling on a last-minute business trip. Also when I booked on hotels.com said they had a few different rooms. Arrived at hotel little after 1:00. A front desk manager by the name of Daniel said we're overbooked. Don't have any rooms. I said you can't do that and you have to provide me a room because I have a booking withhotel.com started to argue with me. Ask for manager's information and first said he didn't have it and then he pointed to a sign and gave me a person's name by Angelina Arellano. Called hotel next door econo Lodge. Spoke to a very nice lady said hotels.com policy is they have to provide your room and I told her that I'm not going to battle with motel 6 at 2:00 in the morning. I'll be contacting the owner of the property and hotels.com when I have a chance. Parking lot there was not even full. Didn't feel like they were overbooked either. Not sure what was going on there other than a person came up to the car asking me for money! Spend the extra $10 to $20 and go somewhere else. Econo Lodge is very nice people. Very comfortable room. Almost stole the pillow there because the pillow was so nice

Cleanliness was ok but shower was not clean enough. No mini fridge or microwave. Old tv with low resolution and boring satellite tv. Noisy , uncomfortable bed due to a weak bed frame . But it’s probably the cheapest you will find in Madison and the staff are really nice.
