Stayed 3 nights — left early due to serious health and safety concerns.
We did not expect a luxury 5-star experience, but we did expect a safe and sanitary stay, which unfortunately was not provided.
Issues began at check-in. Despite having a reservation for two guests, we were given only one room key and informed that an additional key would cost $30, which felt unreasonable.
The most serious issue occurred around 4:00 AM, when I woke up to bed bugs actively biting me. This was not a single insect — there were adult and baby bed bugs present in the bed, on the walls, and on the floor surrounding the bed. Given the visibility and quantity, it raised serious concerns about a broader infestation.
When staff and management were notified, their response was extremely dismissive. There was no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the severity. Staff simply came to the room, confirmed the presence of the bugs, and told us to pack up and move rooms. There was no discussion of compensation, waiving fees, or refunds, despite the obvious health risk. We ultimately chose to leave the property altogether.
Additional issues:
• TVs did not work (we relied on personal devices)
• No hand soap in the bathroom dispenser
• Shower was poorly installed, resulting in water everywhere (as noted in other reviews)
• Bathroom finishes appeared worn, stained, and poorly maintained
While the WiFi was strong, it does not outweigh the serious sanitation and safety failures experience
