I Had a good time at the Sonesta, clean rooms, stocked fridge a variety of drinks, alcohol and non alcoholic, everything worked but the iron and house keep resolved that quickly. The grounds and resort were clean. The hotel is very close to the airport.

Room was nice, deadbolt retainer was broken; but it also has a safe included in the room's amenities. Food was ok, buffet selection was probably as good, or better than any of the theme restaurants; lots of fresh fish. The portions at all of the restaurants left one wanting for more, we ended up eating off property fairly frequently after the first few days. The beach is nice, the pools were clean and well shaded in small areas throughout the day. Ok place to stay, we'll likely skip any all inclusive package(s) next time we stay on this island.

Overall I had a great experience at this resort , the staff are friendly and polite . The food was amazing and lots of options. And there was always activities to do. I also like that you can leave the resort and walk to go shopping or Casino . I wish there was more area to walk through the resort and that they had food available 24 hrs and not just for guest on certain floors. I also would have like better entertainment at night and more things to do during the day. But overall I enjoyed my stay and would go back .
