Nice front desk staff. The hotel is a bit run down 😒 The bed was uncomfortable and the freeway was very noisy (hotel backs right up to the fwy)

In our room, 208, the light controlled by the switch by the door was burned out, the stopper in the sink was broken, and the bathroom fan was also not working. Flushing mechanism on toilet was very loud too. Breakfast was good though.

Upon check it after 3pm our room was not ready then we were checked into a room that was not even made up the bed was all messed up with blankets and sheets just pilled on the bed and it looked like we were heading into a dungeon. Very dark and cold It was not a good site or feeling we were very disappointed However the staff member kept apologizing but it still didn’t rectify the situation The website is also very misleading Just not what u would expect No I would not recommend this place it’s uncleanly and furthermore it’s not very inviting

We do try to have all of our guest rooms ready for the 3pm check in and on some days we did not have enough staff. Perfect hotel in the perfect location

By far one of my favorite hotels. Very clean, the shower is absolutely amazing and the bed is so comfortable that it’s hard to get up. I’ve been staying here for the past 2 years and will continue everytime I’m in town.

Complaints

The kitchen was being remodeled so no continental breakfast so I went out for breakfast each day. The hot tub was under construction so I went to a gym to use a hot tub. I had no internet service in my room. #204 so I had to go elsewhere for internet service. Over all.........very disappointed and will not be back.

The room smelled of smoke and when asked to change my room, I was told that they had no other room at that price and I could do an update for $60. The room had no working telephone and so to contact the front desk, I had to walk to the lobby, from the second floor, or use my personal cell phone. Also, the television had no signal, so I could not watch the television.

Crack motel

When we arrived, we were shocked by the condition of the hotel. There was construction going on with jackhammers going all day. The small pool In the parking lot was empty. This is a motel. It is on a rough street. The first night we had a methhead outside of our door ranting and screaming for two hours in the middle of the night, finally taken away by the police. The room was dirty and our feet turned black just walking on the floor without socks.

Terrible Hotel

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
This place is yucky! The carpet in the room had areas where it needed repair. The curtains were filthy and so was the floors in the bathroom. I wouldn't even dare getting in that shower. The walls had patches of wallpaper that were put over old wallpaper. It was just a run down and dirty room. You can hear everything your neighbors are doing and everyone outside. People were partying and playing loud music all night. It was just awful! I have stayed in nicer more updated rooms at Motel 6 and paid way less. I would avoid this place!

:: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT :: As with many things in life ... change is good. In today’s world of social media; reviews have become a tool of benefit as well as a platform for people to vent when not happy. This property ... has come a long way and has strived to provide a nice place to stay; but many folks can and will find things that are wrong ... in their eyes. Now ... under new management - yup, we all hope for the best; but how do “we” define “best”? For me is clean linen and service with a smile. Unfortunately, looking at HLR guest relation records ... it seems that more than a few of the negative review seem to focus on location, breakfast and door locks ... with a few reviews about guest profiling. My name is Frank Flores ... the new guy, with the task of addressing negative comments in this past year. I can’t promise that folks will stop finding something “wrong” or not to their “level” ... but I surely will try in the next couple of months to either finish, modify and/or replace what is needed; so not to have so many folks “sore” at HLR but who can take the time to see that “we” are changing. So let us begin ...

Not a great experience

Pros: Room was big and spacious. Had a king bed.
Cons: Key didn't work, checked in about 3:15 p.m. Had to make 5 trips to lobby to try different keys, none worked, didn't get keys that worked until 8:30 p.m. Ruined my weekend plans couldn't do anything on Saturday night because we were unable to get into our room.
Location: Too much construction. Parking lot very small, rooms didn't have #s just pieces of paper on windows.
