The rooms where average and nice enough but do need some updating in the toilet and bathroom. One thing that is really unacceptable was the charging dock and alarm clock, the alarm went off at 3:00 in the morning ( I'm assuming the previous occupants had set it) and was so loud that ourselves and the guests around us thought it was a fire alarm. Not nice to happen after a long day of travel.

This hotel overbooks - AVOID

I paid for three hotel rooms and when we arrived the rooms were not available. The receptionist smirked at me and informed me that they always overbook the hotel and this happens all the time. The staff were unfriendly and rude and offered no apologies. After SIX WEEKS and a LOT of emails with the manager I have still not received a complete refund (they refunded me 70% of the booking after making me wait a month and sending me lots of lying emails) nor have I had an apology - avoid this hotel like the plague, it is an absolute joke. There are lots of perfectly decent hotels in the area, save yourself the hassle and do not stay in this dated, unfriendly hellhole.

The property is a shambles. No hot water for 2 days and no maintenance people. Waiting for my refund as agreed and no word from either hotels.com nor the hotel. Their main phone doesn’t work. The ice machine didn’t work. The housekeeping staff didn’t clean the room. Lost several hours of my stay in London waiting for staff to advise me of what they could do. Nothing. Not on the hoppa route. Seriously so many options in the area. Would have thought better of a best western

Staff were generally understanding and helpful. Room had a nonfunctioning AC, phone, and internet (the last extremely inconvenient). Ultimately opted to not take the substitute room, and went to the hotel next door, which also was on the hotel hoppa route (far less expensive an option than the one quoted in messages for hotel transportation).
