The hotel was very average. One night the fire alarms were going off and it was apparently a false alarm. No hot water, took two ice cold showers in the morning. Was fine that no one cleaned our rooms but wasn't even asked if we need any extra toiletries or garbage changed our over our three night stay. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Dirty, bad condition, just terrible

Terrible hotel, one of the reasons I’m not using Hotels.com anymore. If this is a well rated hotel, I am not sure what is not. Was charged almost seven times the usual rate because of a concert at Madison, and felt completely scammed. Broken light fixture in the bathroom, disgusting bath tub, dirty towels (with holes), dirty linen, dirty carpet, microwave and mini fridge not working. One of the worst hotels I have ever been in, I cannot believe it qualifies for a Quality Inn brand.

Late late arrival

My daughter & I took a friend to the Amtrak in Chicago and were headed home. It was late, looking for local hotels while driving down the interstate at 11pm. I found this top reviewed hotel and after tax $80. We got there at midnight, the girl was nice. We got to our room and quickly fell asleep. Woke up around 830, quickly getting ready to catch breakfast before leaving. We handed our room key at 858am and the guy was nice enough to say he’d wait 10 minutes to close breakfast. We honestly just grabbed a couple muffins and some juice and were good to go but still thought the offer was very kind. My daughter is super picky about hotels but made the comment she liked this one and slept well. We’d stay here again.

Wife ran out of hot water halfway through shower. I had no hot water. Tub did not drain sufficiently, leaving water ankle deep. They had a few items for breakfast, eggs soaking in water did not look appetizing.

Normal hotel room fairly clean didn't smell funky the fire alarm did go off randomly in the middle of it I and then the smoke alarm beeped for like 10 minutes after that there was no explanation from the staff about what happened what was going on anything like that no discount or refund of any kind pretty unprofessional in that regard

The property was stinking a lot, starting from the parking area, the lobby and the rooms all had some kind of smell. We had to open windows and let the fresh air pass. The breakfast was good but the person in charge closed it at sharp 9:00 AM. That is not an issue but he carried everything inside including the things that are perishable and cooked, this was wired for me. One couple arrived at 9:07 AM and he didn't entertain them. Which I'm not sure if it's fair or unfair. But I was there before and wanted to bake my last waffle, for which he asked me to use whatever is left in the container which of course was insufficient and I asked for more which he denied.

Great overnight stay, definitely worth it.

Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. Beds were very clean and comfortable, and the shower was one of the best I've had in any hotel. A/C worked beautifully. The only critique we had was the breakfast selection. Was hoping for more of a selection of protein, and the eggs were the powdered variety, which was not appetizing. Only muffins and bread for toasting options, but make-your-own-waffle was available. We would definitely stay there again. Did not utilize the pool or hot tub, so we can't speak to that.

The bed we had was very hard. We felt like we were sleeping on a piece of plywood. The exhaust fans are very loud in all the rooms We had to contact the desk about the neighboring room having theirs running for over 45 minutes, Even the ones on the first floor right below our room were very loud. Being as loud as they were and being used after 11 o'clock for long periods of time it disturbed us trying to fall asleep. There were children in the swimming pool not being supervised by an adult.
