"The home has many wonderful features and is a central part of Sicily. We loved the small town of Caltavuturo and got to know some of the towns people as we made trips to the town each day for food or groceries. The pizza and all-around food at Cathe in town was excellent, some of the best pizza in Italy. We got to know the pizza bakers as we watched them churn out hundreds of pizzas the night they swore in the new mayor. Mauricio at Siragusa pastry shop was great and his gelato and pastries were the best we had in all of our Italy trip. The dogs next door to the home were very cute and friendly. We greatly enjoyed our visit."
