"It was a very windy day which exposed the lack of insulation and how the cold air got in. The room was freezing, the heating cam on but for too short a time the room was already freezing and did not warm up. "Location was perfect for Welshpool. Charlie was welcoming, efficient and friendly. We had lunch when we arrived. The food was excellent and inexpensive. Breakfast was not as good as the staff member was inattentive. I chose from a varied menus of cooked breakfast scrambled egg on toast which was served badly cooked and dry on dry toast. There was also a selection of cereals and juices to choose from. The room was small but well decorated and comfortable with a bright and clean en suite. The bar was welcoming and well stocked. Overall a good experience and I would definitely return but without choosing scrambled egg for breakfast."
