"Overall, we had a really good stay and enjoyed our time here. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the kids absolutely loved the large back room. The only downside was that it stayed noticeably warmer than the rest of the house.The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, and we made good use of the grill. One suggestion would be to add Adirondack chairs around the yard fire pit. We’d also recommend treating the backyard for the many anthills, as there were quite a few.For families, it would be great if the house included a small selection of board games and books. We knew ahead of time there weren’t any and brought our own, but those little touches make a big difference at a lake house, especially on rainy days or evenings when everyone wants to stay in.The location worked well for us. It was an easy drive to rent a pontoon for the day on Torch Lake, and we enjoyed fishing off the dock. The dock felt a little shaky with more than three people on it, but it was still nice to have. And we had some great catches! If the owners ever decide to include a pontoon or even a couple of kayaks, that would be a huge bonus.The grocery store, coffee shop, and restaurants are all conveniently nearby, and there are some really cute shops around the Torch Lake area as well.Overall, we’d definitely recommend this property."
