We loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. It’s in a gorgeous neighborhood across from the metro and walkable to a lot of attractions. We had a rental car and parking with the valet was seamless. I would highly recommend the hotel for easy access, location, great service and excellent breakfast.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Lisbon, and there were some highlights. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of a vibrant area with lots to explore. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. However, I did encounter some significant issues. The corridors had a persistent, unpleasant smell that was quite off-putting. It seemed like the hotel was trying to mask it, but the result was just an overwhelming combination of odors. I paid extra for a patio, hoping for a nice spot to relax, but it turned out to be right next to the HVAC system, which made it loud and uncomfortably hot. Additionally, there was a strong garbage smell coming from the basement, unfortunately close to the gym, so we couldn’t even use the facilities. If you’re sensitive to odors, I would recommend considering another place. Even with a perfume shop inside the hotel trying to cover up the smells, it just made things worse. Overall, while the area and staff were great, the odor issues really impacted my experience.

Perfect stay in Heart of Lisbon!!!

From the moment we arrived at 138 Liberdade Hotel, we felt truly taken care of. The location couldn’t be better—right on the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade, making it easy to explore the city on foot and soak in Lisbon’s charm. The staff here were simply incredible. Not only were they warm and welcoming, but they also went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. They even upgraded our room to better suit our needs, which made our trip feel extra special. A special mention must go to the amazing bartender and the attentive waiter staff in the restaurant—they made every drink and meal feel like an experience, and their friendly service really stood out. From start to finish, everything about our stay was seamless, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already planning our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional service in the best location Lisbon has to offer.

My first Lisbon vacation

The hotel is situated in the best location, the staff were so welcoming and kind, the rooms were spacious and clean with a big bed and lovely amenities . Clean, quiet, lovely restaurants around, shops, street market. Will definitely come back again, very recommend. Fare price.
