We had sn amazing time at Palácio das Especiarias. It was close to everything so we walked most places. The staff were exceptional and the welcome wine and cheese and daily breakfast was great.

We had some problems with our reservation when we arrived and the staff were very rude and put us in a closet size room where we couldn’t even open our luggage ( we reserved 291 sq.ft.room). We had to change rooms three times. Other than this, staff were very nice and accommodating. It is a cozy hotel but the rooms are not like what you see in the pictures.we decided on this hotel seeing the pictures on the website and the Expedia but… the three rooms we had to to stay and none of them were cute and sweet as ones on the pictures. Convenient location. The manager was really great and the car service to airport was so helpful and nice.
