I liked the room - large, modern and the staff super nice. Walkable right from the hotel to many tourist stops. Did not like traffic noise, noise from hospital ambulances gave it a NYC vibe. But let’s be positive that you’re close to a great hospital if that’s something you need. Swimming pool only accessible to 16 plus was a shocker. Meaning we could not go for a family swim. Also there is no cantina store for purchase small items - Advil, toothpaste, chocolate bar - there is an opportunity there. Bring a sound machine to block out noise. Beyond the negative seeing the Bridge from our Hotel and the water was spectacular. Also safe location and rooms are modern, clean and more.

Although we did not get our room upgrade, we did get a top floor room facing the river. I am glad that this hotel does not force their guests to pay the $10 resort fee/day like the hotels in the US. The free bottle of red wine and the 2 small de nata in our room on the first day of check-in are additional bonuses. The room is spacious enough, and we loved having the river view from the balcony. But if you are a light sleeper, you may have a problem falling asleep since the tram is right next to the hotel rooms facing the river. Also, there is another problem with the riverview rooms ( but not the bridge view rooms) - an abandoned parking lot is located right in front of these rooms. I would have reserved Bridgeview rooms for $50 dollars more per day if I had known the location difference. I was worried at first that Hyatt is not near the center of Lisbon. But now I am very glad that we chose Hyatt. Its surroundings are less crowded, and it feels more relaxing than the hotels in the city center. We loved walking on the promenade and looking at the beautiful bridge every day. Hyatt is within walking distance to Jerónimos Monastery, Tower of Belem, pastéis de belém, MAAT, etc, but you can choose to take the bus to the above destinations if you don't want to walk since there are many bus stops right next to the hotel. You can pretty much go anywhere in Lisbon with the nearby 🚌 (1.80 euros each way), or use bolt/Uber, which is usually around 5 euros. There are at least two

Wow. What an amazing experience we had at this hotel. Everything was spotless and the staff is very friendly. We had a corner room. And the view was breathtaking. The location is great. Just 15 minutes walk to the Jerónimos monastery, Coaches museum, Belem tower and pastel de Belém pastry shop. Our favourite. Well worth the visit. I recommend.
