The staff was superior going out of their way to help. The daily breakfast was wonderful too. Lots of restaurants and sidewalk cafes nearby. Our room was somewhat small, however. The two of us had large suitcases because we were coming off a cruise, so we had little extra space.

The entire staff went out of their way to make our entire trip special. From the welcome drink and small pastry in our room to the attentive bar and restaurant staff. Breakfast was wonderful with made to order meal and large buffet of fruits, breads, cheeses, yogurts and pasteis. Front desk staff extremely helpful with arrangements for local excursions. Loved the walking tour and Beatriz’s insight to local must sees. Highly recommend this hotel!

We loved this beautiful hotel. The decor is gorgeous and location is prime. They pay attention to detail. We were also welcomed with a delicious welcome drink. Staff from the restaurant to the front desk were all so very kind and helpful, they all definitely showed the Portuguese hospitality and friendliness. Their breakfast was also very delicious especially my favourite: the beetroot crepe with arugula! Highly recommend this hotel!
