Reserved a room with fire place and jaccuzzi for my wife's bday weekend. Fire place not working, jaccuzzi discusting, "blood" on curtains. Bathroom door touching the toilet couldn't open without forcing. Room 209 was terrible. Went to the counter several time, and nobody around. Left a message to the Vet the next morning and no contact from the manager, they did not care.

We’ve stayed before and some of the better features of the property were still in place (the breakfast was amazing, the room was quiet). The hot tub could be hotter. However, we had ants in our room and I woke up to them crawling on me. And after that I couldn’t sleep well because I kept feeling ants on me (there were at least three ants that did actually crawl on me). I had seen a single ant in the bathroom earlier, but didn’t see them anywhere else until they were on me in the bed. The next morning we did see more on the nightstand but we didn’t have any food or sugary beverage on the stands so not sure what they were after. We mentioned the ants to the front desk the next morning but nothing was done to mitigate. I’m hoping this was a temporary problem because we really do like this place and ants weren’t there in October when we last stayed there.

We loved the Friendly staff, the pool and the breakfast buffet and the fancy beverage machine. The only thing we did not like was the particular odor as soon as you walk in and in the rooms as well, it was unpleasant. The hotel seemed a little old but it was ok for the price I guess.
