"Our stay at Las Islas was nothing short of amazing! The resort is literally built within a mangrove forest and surrounded by everything that lives there. We stayed in one of the treetop bungalows and was visited by a range of animals daily. We saw a variety of birds, reptiles, mammals, insects, and fishes, such as iguanas, spiders, racoons, etc. It was easy to lose ourselves in nature. We had breakfast overwater, lunch on the beach and dinner surrounded by lush forest. The entire experience was mind-blowing, yet peaceful and relaxing. We even had a few nights of stormy weather that was both exciting for me and a bit scary for my wife at the same time. All of the staff we interacted with were always polite and friendly. Even their uniforms added to welcoming and peaceful nature of the resort. A simple walk or bicycle ride (yep, we had these to move around the resort) to the various restaurants were met with smiling faces and greetings from everyone. We had daily housekeeping, and top ups of fruits and water if we needed it. We also spent an evening on neighbouring Isletta, where we had a late lunch. The island is small, but unique in its vegetation and wildlife. It was a very peaceful evening. The staff was just as friendly and welcoming. You have access to a range of watersports, a swmming pool, and the beach. We would definitely recommend and we will be revisiting when time allows "
