One word..Bedbugs!! Got there at dark. The room was very nasty! Vent was off in the bathroom. The bathroom was under renovation I guess. There was black hand prints and white paint covering mold. 6AM bedbug was crawling across my mom’s face. We killed it! Nasty!! Got a video and pictures for proof.

They steal your money

I was told that I could not be checked in despite having paid on hotels.com already. The clerk had explained to me that his system crashed and he was unable to check me and my family in. When asked how long this would take, he told me to wait in my car and that he had no idea when he would be able to check me in. Due to being out of state and having a small child with me at 11:30pm, I was uncomfortable and didn't feel safe not having a time frame of when my family and I could be checked in especially in the middle of the night. I felt stranded. I called hotels.com explaining to them that I was unable to use this service because of Days inn system error and requested a refund. They called the clerk and because of it being in the middle of the night they couldn't do anything without a manager present. They told me to go find another hotel and that they would escalate the issue. I did not use Days Inn services because of their error and for that I feel entitled to a refund. I felt under valued as a customer and even with the system error the clerk did absolutely nothing to ensure our safety or offer any solution. 3 days later there manager sees nothing wrong with the issue and has stolen my money for unused service's. Stay clear away. While dealing with this a practically midnight, there were questionable people around. Would not recommend. Save your money. Please go elsewhere

I Won't Be Back

This hotel might be in a transitional phase, I'm not sure. There is definitely some facelift construction going on. While the room was close to the highway, I couldn't hear the traffic at all. However, there was a weird ticking noise happening all night long. I think it was the AC unit but I wasn't sure. Definitely needs replacing. Our room was very dirty. My feet were black after walking around barefoot. The corners of the bathroom were piled with caked on dirt, and the sheets all had staining on them. I spilled some water and when I cleaned it up, the towel was black from dirt on the floor. I went to ask for some extra blankets and the front desk started by saying I only had 2 people registered for the room. Why does that even matter? But then he checked and saw I had 4 people and gave me something that resembled heavy curtains. Apparently they don't have extra actual blankets. Breakfast was not great. Good variety of coffee syrups to choose from. Biscuits were dry, pastries were dry, sausage gravy was runny with white chunks in it, eggs were a super weird mushy texture, and the waffle batter was empty after 3 waffles. Breakfast begins at 6, we were there at 6:45 with zero other people in the room. You absolutely get what you pay for I suppose. In the end, we just needed a place to lay our heads for the night so I would have been happy if the place was at least clean and the clerk didn't get upset over my asking for 2 blankets.
