The apartment was very roomy. Absolutely loved the size of the kitchen however it wasnt very stocked with essentials needed to cook properly. The water out of the faucet smelled like rotten eggs. The filter on the ice/water within the refrigerator needed changing when we arrived so we opted to go buy bottled water and a bag of ice. My son was elected to have the pullout but there was a sheet that didn't really fit on it and looked dirty. Also under the pullout matteress didnt look like it was cleaned for awhile. No extra pillows or blankets as well for the pull-out which normally wouldnt be that big of deal but the furnace wasnt working when we were there and only 2 spaceheaters to heat the place wasnt ideal. We only got comfortably warm after opening up the room to the hottub and letting the fireplace help warm up the rest of the place after moving one heater to the common area otherwise it was quite cold in there. However with all the little things bad it was overall a very nice place and affordable.

Host was wonderful, responsive and accommodating. Place as described. All rooms were clean except a few cobwebs in corners of the 2 bedrooms and sunroom. Bed sheets were very wrinkled but seemed clean. Nice large kitchen, dining and living room area. I would stay again.

Our overnight stay was perfect from beginning to end - a charming and well-lit entrance brought us through a smartly appointed foyer, opening into a spacious, spotless and inviting home. We weren’t there long enough to enjoy the game room or all the amenities offered, but it was a welcoming end to a long day of driving. Just approaching the entrance put a smile on my face. The property is lovingly cared for and it shows; we began the next leg of our trip well rested and renewed thanks to The Cedar Door Place.

Beautiful Pastoral Setting

This was a very roomy home with a beautiful pastoral view! Loved the large open kitchen, dining, and living areas. We enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong table as well. The homeowner was very prompt in responding to our needs/questions. Thank you for a very comfortable stay!

4th of July Getaway

The property was great! Very clean and spacious. Located in a quiet area but close to town and interstate access. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and watching the wildlife from the sunroom. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the large fenced in backyard. It was the perfect place for our 4th of July getaway!

Countryside quiet

This location was perfect for us, out in the county but less than 10 minute drive to every place we needed to go to. Extremely clean and quiet area with a large kitchen area and plenty of space to spread out if you want to. Will be staying there again next year when we visit this area to see friends.
