"Everything was fine in this lovely hotel, really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast and evening meal were great. Beautiful view from our garden room, would definitely stay again. Great location too, near shops and restaurants."

The Cottage in the Wood

"Arrived at 15:10, couldn't get a coffee while waiting for room which wasn't meant to be ready until 15:30. We were able to get a drink from the bar so not all bad. The access road is narrow and steep with a few passing places, this does mean the hotel is a long way from the road so very peacefully. The restaurant has a very limited menu ,4 mains and 4 starters plus one special. The staff were very good, attentive and helpful. The accommodation was o.k. nothing outstanding. We have stayed in Malvern many times, this was our first time at the cottage in the wood, it is the most expensive option but it is not the he best Malvern hotel I have stayed in, I wouldn't avoid it but it isn't going to be my first choice either."
