The owners are great, room is clean and the kitchenette is adequate, service is good. The room we got faced the main road so I gave 4 stars. It is a nice place to stay however.

Perfect spot, lovely room on top floor with great views. Fantastic host, very welcoming and accommodating giving us a top floor upgrade due to cancelations. Really enjoyed our brief stay in a very quaint and picturesque Akaroa.

The motel is in a nice and quiet location but easy to get to other places. We had an upstairs room and the view was brilliant. The bed was comfy and everything was adequate. Very clean and quiet well decorated. An older motel but well maintained.
