Great spot for exploring Launceston

Great stay in Launceston right at the perimeter of the CBD. Super walkable to main part of town, museums, parks and river etc. great staff and well appointed room - we didn’t have a car but it appeared parking very easy as well.

Breakfast is good. I stayed there 2 nights. First night, air conditioner did not work. Staff gave me an electric fan. I asked for tidy-up room in the 2nd day. No room cleaning was done when I came back. The big bed ok, but the second bed is too soft.

Minor issue with bathroom water pressure. Bed was good. Greatview of city. Our package came with continental breakfast which was tasty. Found staff very helpful. At checkin we were given a list of eateries open on Sunday and Mondays as Launceston closes down after the weekend. Parking was supplied and was on ctv.

You should always read the fine print .. Thought I was getting a hearty breakfast includued in my stay .. However ther was additional costs which were masked behind the advertising .. I did hear other gusests who where miffed at the idea of paying extra for an included breakfast ..

Clean, comfy and convenient.

We wanted a reasonably priced, clean and comfortable room for a few nights in Launceston and thats what we got. Our room was a little dated, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The night porter was exceptionally friendly and helpful and all the staff were good. Location is convenient and free breakfast is a great bonus.
