The bed wasn’t flat, was so uncomfortable I wanted to leave in the middle of the night and sleep in the car. The shower was old school - fine if you like a small water flow and don’t need to wash your hair. And it’s one of those places that uses an overpowering scent that gives you an instant headache. Cute setting, room was fine

Loved the balcony room, the safe close parking, and the quiet. Especially loved that we could walk to Earl St Theatre, Museum, and good restaurants. Will plan to come again from Hobart for theatre and so on.

Found this hotel last minute. Old style hotel with old fashioned service. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and very helpful. We had a courtyard room and were able to access the carpark easily to bring our bags in through the courtyard doors. Table and chairs in the courtyard for use to sit and have a quiet drink and plan your day/afternoon. Restaurants and pubs within walking distance. It was an easy 10min walk into the centre of Launceston. Rooms were clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. Bathrooms are a little small if you compared to more modern hotels due to the age and design of the building, but it was easily manageable for my partner and I. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a quirky hotel, I believe it used to be an old bakehouse. Definitely the sort of place I like to stay, but may not be for everyone. My ensuite was pretty narrow, however, it looked like it was in an old part of the original building. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Would stay again, thanks
