Beautiful home in Lauco (UD) with WiFi
"Auf dem Weg von Österreich nach Kroatien haben wir fünf sehr schöne Tage in Trava verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung von Rinaldo ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und sehr gut ausgestattet (nur das Wlan hat Aussetzer). Man hat einen weiten Blick über das Tal, mit den hohen Gipfeln auf der anderen Seite. ..."

For those travelers who are wanting to unearth a place to hang their hat close to where the action is in Lauco, Travelocity's destinations page offers customers a few good options. Within an easy driving distance of the Lauco CBD, there are 5 modern short and long-stay accommodation options.
A good choice amongst only a few rooms that are close to the centrally located sights of Lauco, is the Albergo Diffuso Altopiano di Lauco.
11 miles (17 kilometers) from central Lauco, you will come across the Albergo Ristorante Riglarhaus. Alternatively, the Bellavista can be found approximately 5 miles (9 kilometers) away. Some other places to stay include the Albergo Diffuso Comeglians and the Albergo Diffuso Sauris.
The greater Friuli-Venezia Giulia area is definitely worth having a look at too. Travel around Friuli-Venezia Giulia's ruins, castles and traditional villages. Anybody drawn to nature can also leave time to admire its beaches and coastal plains. Visitors and locals alike in this region of Italy will enjoy snowboarding.
Spend some time visiting Marano Lagunare Tower and River Stella Mouth Regional Nature Reserve, in Marano Lagunare, 50 miles (81 kilometers) south of Lauco. The Hotel Italia Palace and Aparthotel Esperya are just a handful of the apartment and hotel options in Marano Lagunare. 30 miles (50 kilometers) to the east of Lauco, you may also choose to stay at Tarvisio, home to the Hotel Nevada and Il Cervo. The Mount Lussari and Misconca Cable Car are a couple of the popular attractions to see when you're in Tarvisio.
Simply because you and your family are having a getaway, doesn't have to mean you can't fuel your obsession for a day at the stadium. You can find Stadio Friuli 30 miles (46 kilometers) to the southeast of Lauco. Anyone wanting to find a room or apartment in the area around the stadium can select from the Astoria Hotel Italia or the Ambassador Palace Hotel.

Arena Franz Ferdinand Nassfeld
"Absolutely fabulous for families with children of all ages. The area of Nassfeld has the motto “Nice Surprise” and it really was the nicest surprise to find this lovely hotel in this breathtaking part of the world. We travelled with our teen boys in the summer and they were active all day. From rock climbing (ages 6 and up) to swimming, to the children’s area (arcade style basketball was a big hit!) to mountain biking the local area, this hotel was outstanding. Breakfast had a delicious buffet assortment of fruits, veggies, omelettes, meats, cheeses, yogurts and breads- also excellent coffee options! The rooms were tidy and uncomplicated, with essential amenities. The shower had great, powerful flow (I mention this bc I can’t stand weak, dribbling showers) Apparently the winter had even MORE to offer, but our summer stay did not disappoint us in any way. Staff were efficient, friendly, and helpful. The teens have asked to return in the winter some day to ski, and we will happily return to the Franz Ferdinand!"
