This is one of the many short falls on the Tallulah River at the bottom of Tallulah Gorge. To reach this point you have to climb 400 steps to the bottom of the gorge, cross the river (not easy) and hike about a half mile. It's a rugged hike over boulders and rock faces. Not for the faint of heart!

One of the most spectacular spots in north Georgia is Tallulah Gorge with its mile long series of waterfalls and pools. The climb down to the gorge is a steep set of stairs to a viewing platform where you can see this fall at a angle. If you want to see more of the gorge, you must follow a trail along the river on what is more of a rock climb than a hike. Not recommended unless you are used to rugged hikes.
This is Bridal Veil Falls on the Tallulah River at the bottom of Tallulah Gorge on a hot June day. Even though it's a steep climb down into the gorge, many young kids and teenagers love to come here to slide down Bridal Veil Falls into the pool below. The problem - the quarter mile climb out is extremely steep and more like a rock climb than a hike.
Great hike with gorgeous views
