Amazing property and great family staff the honesty cares about there property and there guests 1st time staying here and will definitely come back only negatives to mention are pool area could use some upgrades/repairs also they are in desperate need of some kind of vending machines for late night snack and drinks also the door handle has n my room was not in n the best shape but that was the only problem in my room all the other things mentioned could just be considered improvements

Awful, depressing dated crowded parking, no heat

The place was rented for $235- A LOT on 10/12/24 the cottage 2 bedroom . People live upstairs running a lot, the place is dated to the 70s, the heat doesnt work we turned on the kitchen stove to warm the main room and bath, the hot water too had issues too hot, too cold.. we asked for $50 off next stay because we had no heat, she refused stating that I chose to come there... well there are 100s motels around, this is sitting in a parki g lot cars everywhere those puctures do not look like the place. Also very dated, people next door had no water, no tv.. met them in the morning at check out. The lady just grinning walking back excuses like crazy.. dont go!!!

This is a great little cabin/hotel with a quiet bubbling brook behind it and open BBQ space, great for families. The wifi was hit or miss (mostly miss), and I wish the owners would consider adding wifi expanders for certain cabins. However, no wifi is not necessarily a bad thing for teenagers who really need a digital detox! Very friendly, helpful owners and generally quiet, although a mere five- to ten-minute walk from a busy tourist area.

It was a decent price for six people. However, the room decor and furniture was rather dated. The room needed a major renovation as there was peeling paint, mouse droppings in the pots and pans, unpainted molding, old fixtures. More than half of the lights didn’t work. The toaster didn’t work. You could hear the upstairs guests so loudly.

For a good price its what you get

I booked online thought it was a wonderful price especially for our mini getaway for the 4th of July. I go to check in and my price was $10 more than what i originally booked. It looked like a cute cottage. The room was okay. Saw ants, spiders crawling everywhere on the floor. The bathroom is little outdated. Oh please bring your own shampoo because no shampoo was provided. If you want to brush your teeth there is warm water instead of hot water. This cabin lacks hot water when I also took my shower. I turned it to the highest temperature and still no hot water. It was a great location because we walked everywhere to downtown Lake George and looking forward to watching the fireworks. Everything was good except on 4th of July day going into Friday morning. People are not considerate of quiet time. Someone was shooting fireworks @ 1:30 am on Friday morning right outside my cottage. So I couldn't get any sleep. While it was an affordable price i will not be staying there next time.
