Entire place is extremely outdated. Room felt old and dirty. No waterproof shower curtain, just the fabric so it leaked everywhere. Hot water was dangerously hot, my 5yo burned herself trying to wash her hands. We stayed at the Slidell location the week prior and it was so much better. Crossing this one off our list, very much regret staying here.

The staff was great. The suite was semi- renovated but overall very good. Breakfast was much better than any similar hotel with Chia pudding and overnight oats. The basketball hoop was an added bonus.

We had black mole in the bathroom I told the front desk and they said they was going to try and move use but there was no other room for Friday night. Saturday we asked again but they said they still didn’t have any rooms available. Around 10:00 they called and told us they will move us to another room which they did around 11:00am. I didn’t take pictures but the clerk at the front desk did. They also had a lamp that was broken and leaning against the wall and dirty qtips on the floor.

The lobby LOOKED beautiful but the first floor smells like cat urine in spite of the air freshener spraying at the front desk. Remodeling signs are everywhere which gives them the excuse to avoid vacuuming ANYWHERE. Floor 4 is half done and only 1 of 2 elevators goes there. Floors 1-3 are VERY dirty, and our 3rd floor room was no better. The manager came up and vacuumed for us saying it should have been done before we arrived, but she missed major chunks of ick so I had to do that myself. The curtains were in tatters, wallpaper pulling away from the wall, and the smell was NOT nice! The front desk staff was extremely unhelpful and I would have moved to a tent in a campground if one had been available. I'm so defeated since this hotel ranked highest in Lafayette, LA.

There was a taco and beer party with loud music. When 10pm came around. I called the front desk and asked when would the party end. It went on for hours. I called a second time and I was placed on hold so, I attempted to fall asleep and at 1pm the talking and laughing went to another level so I called and they said they could not ask them to go to there rooms. I replied either you do or I will call someone else who will. About 30 minutes later the noise stopped. I don’t sleep well at all. Driving home was difficult. I could barely keep my eyes open. This room was over $200 per night. I will contact the corporate office and ask for a refund. What a horrible stay.

There were a number of things in our suite that were broken or in poor condition. The dishwasher wasn’t screwed in and fell forward when opened. One of the toilet seats was broken. Two of our three television remotes did not work. The furniture was worn, but the beds were comfortable. The hotel was being renovated while we were there and so the hallways were often dirty and hot. The breakfast was good though, and we had the pool to ourselves and it was nice. The staff was lovely.

The hotel may be going through some construction because it was so dusty inside. Our sink had a goant crack through it and the beds are hard. It does have a free 240V EV charge port but you have to bring your own charger

Hotel is under renovations but it was still super nice! Check in was quick and easy. Room was amazing. We had gotten the king size suite. Only thing was the shower head needed to be replaced. There wasn't much water pressure. Shayne O. Who works there was amazing! He went above and beyond for hotel guests. Really liked that they offered an area shuttle. Would definitely stay again.
