Fantastic hotel right in the centre of Portalegre. The staff were very helpful, the room was great and the breakfast was excellent. The neighbourhood is quaint with lovely old cobbled streets with good shops, interesting buildings and good restaurants. Easy access to the local national park.

The hot tub area is by reservation only (no charge), so me and my husband drank wine and watched sunset all by ourselves. They also provide thick robes in the bedrooms for this. Breakfast was lovely.
