We needed a clean safe and convenient place to stay for one night after landing in Bali and before our Retreat started. The Patra Bali was right beside the airport and fit the bill. Except for the occasional beautiful view of planes landing you would never know it. The resort is quiet with a lovely pool right at the oceanfront. Breakfast is included and you can buy drinks at the bar and use the facilities even after you've checked out which is working very well for us as we wait for our retreat transportation. The property is older and is currently undergoing various renovations. That said, it is not noisy and although the fixtures and amenities are older everything is very clean and well cared for in the rooms. We did have an adjoining room and were able to hear the TV and such next door. Inside here looking for absolute silence this might not be it. There is minimal restaurant services for dinner but it is an easy walk to many local warungs for authentic Indonesian food. This was easy enough for us to do last night and with breakfast included we were wanting for nothing for this short stay. Would recommend for easy going visitors who want a convenient to the airport today and are happy to make their own entertainment. Going down to the beach at Sunset is a wonderful option. Beautiful views and the local community comes out. Great opportunity for people watching

The Patra Bali Resort is an original classic complex which is well established in a great genuinely beachfront location with extensive established gardens. There are aspects that are in need of some maintenance but it is still a great place to stay. Enjoying the wonderful buffet breakfast on the terrace overlooking the huge pool area and the sea is a great holiday experience.

I would have loved a map of the resort so I knew where things were located and information on the upcoming things to do around the resort would have been helpful also.
