"This hotel is like a trip to the twilight zone. Roll the dice and you might get a room which has furniture from the 1960's, dirty carpets and stinks of week old vomit (floor 7) with black hairs in the linen. The balcony had old cigarette butts clogging the drain and the cracks in the concrete tell the tale of how old and neglected the tower building is. We went to the reception to complain and were offered a new room on 12th floor, a totally different experience as if we had relocated to a different hotel. This room had new hard floors so at least no stinking carpets and the bathroom was recently renovated. Big flat screen TV and decent furniture and the balcony had these wooden tiles to cover the old concrete. We never went to the breakfast area even though we had booked with breakfast included, the initial shock froom floor 7 had us fleeing this hotel as fast as possible."

"Room was very clean and spacious! The property itself is classic. The staff was a bit difficult we would get different information from different staff. They also weren’t very friendly at the restaurant Le Bristol. We had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was ok. When they asked if we would like to see the wine menu we said “yes we would like to look at it” and the waitress rolled her eyes. The food I would say is average. My husband dish was very dry and lacked flavor. Breakfast was also average and to be honest for the price you pay a big let down. The options are limited and wasn’t anything special. Not likely to stay again. "

"The front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly. The fact that the hotel overlooked the track was easily the best part! The rooms were decent sized and clean except for showers...the tile grout was extremely dirty/moldy. We apparently went in the off season so there was not a lot open but we could watch people doing practice laps while we ate breakfast!!"

"Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. It is a budget stay with bare rooms. No kettle. There was no curtain or window cover in the bathroom, while there were no closeby windows I was still a little concerned about people seeing in after a shower. "

"Das Hotel hat uns sehr positiv überrascht. Man bezahlt etwas mehr als anderswo, bekommt allerdings auch etwas dafür. Unser Zimmer mit Blick auf den Rhein hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und auch ruhig, wenn nicht gerade auf dem Flur von anderen Gästen die Türen laut geknallt werden. Im Hotel wurden gerade Zimmer in einem anderen Flur renoviert, das hat nicht gestört. (Vor dem Fahrstuhl lag diverses Baumaterial herum.) Das Schwimmbecken hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es war ausreichend groß und es gab genügend Liegen dort. Am Frühstücksbuffet hatten wir wirklich überhaupt nichts auszusetzen, es war sehr reichhaltig und sehr vielfältig. Beim Frühstück und auch sonst immer war das Personal immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder."
