I had an exceptional stay at Gateway Hotel in Hong Kong! From the moment I arrived, the service was warm, professional, and attentive. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, with easy access to Harbour City shopping mall and the Star Ferry. My room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I could ask for. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, high-speed Wi-Fi, and thoughtful touches like the complimentary mini-bar. Breakfast at the hotel was another highlight—delicious, with a wide variety of both Western and Asian options. Gateway Hotel strikes the perfect balance between comfort, luxury, and convenience. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel delivers an outstanding experience. I will definitely be back!

The room is nice. But when I booked the Connecting Superior Room on Expedia, it says that I'd get 1 queen AND 2 double beds. If not, 4 double beds in total and the size of the rooms is suitable for 8 pax. I had 7 people with me, 3 of them are children. Hence, I booked the rooms. I even messaged the hotel prior to my stay to confirm, to which, they said they would arrange. But when we arrived, we were only given 2 queen beds. I had to seek assistance from the frontdesk who said their Connecting Superior Rooms do not have double beds. He was nice enough to add an additional bed for free, stating that they are out of beds due to Christmas. But it was still a squeeze. I wonder where the lapse is. Was it Expedia's false marketing or was it Gateway Hotel's purposefully withholding information prior to my stay? It would otherwise be a good place to stay given its location and size.
